I had such trouble getting mine to stay flat after it was embossed no matter what I used to emboss on so I decided to embrace the imperfection and actually deliberately cracked it in lots of spots, added some distress paint to enhance them and kept the rest of the card super simple
I created a strip that when I looked at it ended up being better for two cards so I used the same technique and did two diff cards 😀
I was quite pleased with how these turned out and they are a lot simpler to make than they look 😀
I used brilliance inks for this and am quite pleased with the result (given I accidentally over trimmed one side glad I thought to add a pop of colour rather than waste it)
I think this turned out pretty with the addition of some paper string I got at a local cheapie shop. The Sentiment says Happy Valentines day in teeny writing so not the easiest to see.
I did change the technique a smidge as I felt it was a bit more complicated than it need be given archival ink is waterproof and will not bleed.
I love the Kaiser stamp I used for this. I think it turned out to be a rather pretty card
This one was a bit of a challenge for me as I just don’t have a lot of the sort of stamps that are suitable, however this buzz and bloom set and distress ink seemed to work well together. Thinking this will be my Mother’s birthday card this year.
I really was not sold on this until I pulled off the black bit and changed the sentiment. A lot brighter and bolder than my usual stuff
I tried the Ranger Specialty Stamping paper for the first time, it is rather nice for the blending thing
