Creative Chemistry Day 5 – Chalkboard Coloured

I could not resist when I had a play with this technique doing an extra one with coloured chalk

I learned the green, orange and purple chalks I have barely show whereas the blue, red and yellow show up really well

and sadly that is the end of Creative Chemistry there are some techniques I will come back to when I get the right stuff to do them

I think I skipped an average of one technique a day but I had such a great time and am so excited to have a whole bunch of new and exciting techniques to play with.

Totally love how my grungeboard crown turned out with this technique, the funny thing is I have done similar things in the past but not for this type of effect.

I loved doing this and will most certainly use this technique again.

For some reason my black looks a lot more milky in the pic and shows through less.

You can see the spot where I brushed a little to hard and all the leafing came off have to say really loved this technique, I used a mix of gold and silver leaf for this and one of Tim’s ATC stamps

I have to be honest and say I was not really sold on the sticky powder either brand I have here till I saw how Tim used it and now that I have the hang of it love love love the stuff

Creative Chemistry Day 5 – Rusting

Not sure why but my rusting came out super dark, guess it may be the powder as I was having trouble melting it so may have overheated it a bit or some such still its a great very dark vintage rust look so can’t complain 🙂 or it may have been the grungeboard it is very hard to say.
