I was not sure about this technique at first it felt a little fussy to me but honestly I really love how this card turned out. I did end up with lots of extra bits as my heart balloons were a little big, I probably should have used a bigger card so they looked smaller but I do love the set they are from.
Ingredients: Distress Inks, Paper Accents Alcohol Ink Cardstock, Blending Tool, Sizzix Triplets Dies ‘Balloons’, Little B Dies ‘Handwritten’, Little B extra thick Chipboard Black.
I was really happy at how this one turned out, her favourite colour is Purple.
This is my first time playing with Dylusions Ink sprays and what I really loved most was the effects you could create and that you can blend colours without loosing the colour integrity of either colour was fun to experiment especially on the leaves.
The Dies are Tattered Banners, Tattered Pinecone, Butterfly Strip Die, and Susan’s Garden Window Box.
I also added a little bling and a random word stamp as well as a SeeD’s Happy Birthday stamp stamped in weathered Wood
You do not want to know how long this took me to do, as it was not planned beyond the window box die though I am really happy with how it has turned out. There was a little home made pearl mist used as well as you can see from the sparkle. Not the best Pic as I recently figured out I had my camera on the wrong settings. All sorted now 🙂 thank goodness
